We are a semi-retired, happily married couple of 30+ years who live in Fountain Hills Arizona when we are not exploring the world. We are non-smoking, clean, fit, energetic, animal loving folks.
Taking care of pets is our pleasure. After our Pug, Kai, passed on we wondered what we’d do and what we’d talk about. So we decided to go for OPP as we call it — Other People’s Pets.
We are experienced in pet sitting and have been caring for dogs and cats, horses, birds, bunnies, fish, pigs, alpaca and other pets for years. Many of our assignments have had pets with special needs or pets that need an abundance of patience. That is not a problem for us, we have only had positive experiences for more than a dozen year
We know what it takes to keep a home and yard tidy and we enjoy doing it. We have had several rental properties and a second home so we know how to keep up a house and stay organized. We are avid travelers, having visited more than a dozen countries and 30+ cities in several continents in the past five years. It is our pleasure to take care of our temporary home as though it was ours and have the top rating because of it.
Every house and pet sitting assignment is a joyful adventure for us and we hope you will consider us for your next get away travel and experience different communities and cultures.
We lost our sweet, black pug of 16 years and have now decided to travel and explore and love OPP’s. Trusted House Sitters , the portal we use most often, has opened up a world of adventure that perfectly compliments our love of travel and our love of animals!

Our preference is for house/pet sitting assignments of at least 30 days. This allows us to really get to know your pets as well as the community and culture in which you live. As long-stay travelers, we also require access to transportation. This could be walking or using the bicycles provided if you live close to a village or in the city or access to an auto otherwise.
Pets have been an important part of our marriage. They are a family member with their own personalities and needs. Taking walks, throwing balls, cuddling, grooming and talking to them is second nature to us.
We are GOES members which is a USA travel clearance for border entry to the USA. This involves a police check, along with biometrics.
