Colorado: the land for famous ski slopes, epic views, and mountain air. The most famous of Colorado towns include Aspen, Vail, and Breckenridge. Many people have heard of these places and may secretly desire to visit them, if not to live there. But how many of us have heard of Frisco? No, not the Frisco Melt, the town of Frisco, Colorado. We know at least one couple who knew very little about this mountain village. We were in for a pleasant surprise.
The first stop on our Colorado 2021 Summer has been Frisco.

With an endless supply of hiking and biking trails, stunning mountain and valley views, wildflowers and streams, Frisco can make you feel like you are living inside a painting.

As an aspiring photographer, it seemed as though all we had to do was point the camera in any direction to capture a stunning image. But there is more to Frisco than color, mountains , and vistas.
Our first pet sit in Frisco was a repeat for homeowners we sat for in September, 2020 in New Orleans. They have three cats (Beany. Lulu, and Remi) and two dogs (Zoey and Ben). Each has a wonderfully different personality.
Zoey and Ben loved our morning walks, especially the trail at Officers Gulch, where we stopped to take some photos.
Frisco is not just about mountains, vista’s and streams. Main Street is delightful, full of color, friendly people, a great book store, and good restaurants. It is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or evening.
If you have never been to Frisco, Colorado plan a visit. As we try desperately to avoid cold and snow, the summer has been a perfect time for us. Just driving from town to town, mountain to mountain, ski area to ski area, stream to stream makes us realize how amazing this place is. Who could create such majesty and splendor if not a kind, generous, creative being dedicated to bringing the world to life in full vibrant colors.
We could bore you with dozens more pictures and stories than you have the time or interest in perusing. But you need to make your own memories/stories. Visit Colorado!
